Looking for that perfect ham for any ocassion? This is the one! We remove two of the bones and trim off most of the outer fat, but we leave the small shank bone in it that provides that bone-in flavor with the convenience of not having to carve around all those bones. The slow cooking locks in the savory flavor with out all that salt. Once you have tried this ham you will come back for more.This ham is fully cooked and can be served cold also.
Warming instructions: Let ham sit out for 1 1/2 hours at room temperature. Place in roasting pan and cover tightly with foil. Cook at 250 degrees F for 5 minutes per pound. Let sit for 15 minutes then carve. If you wish to glaze the ham, remove the foil and apply the glaze during the last 20 minutes of warming and increase oven temperature to 350 degrees F.
